Well, my streak now stands at 5 years now and running. I have seen at least one tornado per year since my first on May 4th, 2003. I still remember that day as if it was yesterday. Anyway, back to this past Monday, April 24th. My streak continued on a day that had been anticipated for a few days. It wasn't the most ideal set up, but still interesting nonetheless. After we returned from our 900+ mile trip trekking across central Kansas, we were 4, possibly 5 torns heavier! Most, if not all, were in rural areas...which is a good thing. They were all pretty quick and none had a full condensation funnel, but did all display a debris cloud underneath the funnel. That is all...my total count now stands near 40. | Well, as we speak, or as I speak cause I'm not directly talking to anyone right now, I am in the middle of constructing the introduction for my thesis. I have a deadline of Thursday to have this up to 5 page paper completed. I know what you're all thinking...5 pages!?!? That's nothing!! Y'all just don't understand...for some reason, I tend to take a while to get out of 1st gear on papers. I have plenty of info to put into the quick (5 page) synopsis...It's all about a bit of background info and my statement of purpose. Not to be confused with my purpose for being here...which must be to keep the Louisiana Hot Sauce business thriving! Okay, I've wasted enough time!
